How does removing community apps make FANDOM coward is beyond me.

Fate of Community Apps

Greetings wikians,

You might be aware that FANDOM has removed community apps from iOS and the less popular Android apps from the store at the beginning of October this year.

Since then FANDOM has looked into sustaining the remainder of community apps on android but but couldn't justify the efforts and resources that it would take to do so and hence they have decided to remove the last Android community apps from play store as well.

ON DECEMBER 9TH ALL THE COMMUNITY APPS WILL BE REMOVED FROM PLAY STORE AS WELL.

That will mean no apps will be available for download anymore. If you have them installed in your devices, those will continue to work for the time being but will most likely start crashing.

A message will be displayed when users open the community apps on Android that tells them to switch to FANDOM apps.

All posts/comments/replies will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

I am not sure if I can answer that. You should perhaps question them. Perhaps they are busy with the main wiki. IDK.

Offcourse. The GDM assignment usually lasts for 3 months, but it can be extended/reduced as per the wiki's requirement. But at the end usually a local (and permanent ) Dmod is appointed.

If you need to know what GDMs are or how they function please check the link provided above. ( we don't moderate each and every single wiki. We get assignment and we take them up and moderate those wikis only.)

Personally speaking being a GDM is fun. You get to meet and interact with lots of users and fandoms and enjoy. So it's quite good .

GDM assignments announcement

Hello wikians,

This post is to inform you all about the involvement of GDMs on this wiki. I'm a member of GDM team and have consent from the staffs and admins to moderate the discussion on here. So, I along with my co-assignee will make sure that discussion is free from spams and address any issues which may arrise here.
