The safe has been forcibly opened, with its contents tossed about haphazardly. The remaining notes refer to various aborted projects; Anton's prized research is nowhere to be found. Scorch marks along the rim suggest the work of unsubtle thieves. Outlaws, most likely, made off with Anton's work.
