Back Bays is a location in the lower levels of Groundbreaker. MacRedd and his crew of outlaws have taken over the area.

The Back Bays is possibly a cargo holding area and/or repair bay for the Groundbreaker' automatons. Around the area:
- A large supply of robot remains lie scatted about
- The outlaws' mushroom farm
Layout[edit | edit source]
The Back Bays is a small section of the Groundbreaker where crew and automechanicals resided. When the outlaws move in, the bay is in disarray with destroyed robots and damaged areas of the room. The former crew can be found throughout the area.
Notable loot[edit | edit source]
- Montag: A unique shock cannon carried by MacRedd. Can be pickpocketed or looted off his corpse.
- Radiator Parts: Attached to a wall on the upper level. Needed for the quest, Happiness is a Warm Spaceship.
- MacRedd's Lighter: Can be looted from MacRedd's body or received during the quest, Who Goes There?.
- Junior Mycologist's Log: From examining the journal on a desk in the room with the garden on the second floor.
