This facility is owned and formally operated by Spacer's Choice, however the company shut it down when its botanists were unable to grow decent crops due to the poor soil quality.[1] It currently serves as a refuge for Adelaide McDevitt and other deserters from Edgewater, and the former has made the soil fertile again by grinding up human corpses to mix with her fertilizer.[2] The location is powered solely by the nearby geothermal power plant.
Reed Tobson asks the Stranger to turn off the power to the botanical labs in an effort to convince the deserters to return to Edgewater.
Layout[]
A road leads west into the settlements entrance where a sign reading 'Botanical Lab' lies on the ground beside the entrance. Following the road leads to the green house in the centre of town, surrounding the green house are several residential buildings and Stefan Garcia's store. North leads to the settlement's power house and a workbench. Continuing west leads to the back entrance of town filled with landmines.
Sold by Stefan. Cannot be bought from him if he has returned to Edgewater.
