Firefly Company, simply known as Firefly, is an ammunition manufacturer operating in the Halcyon system.
Background[]
Firefly is an ammunition manufacturer based throughout the Halcyon system. Their signature logo can be seen on some of the ammunition they manufacture.
They also manufactured engines for freighters, such as seen on the wreck of Circus Time Freighter on Scylla.
Sometime before 2355, an automated message was sent out, decommissioning or discontinuing a number of Firefly amenities. These included the Firefly Freebooters Tossball team, all Company storage and transport ships, maintenance and repair to Firefly vehicles, and rations, medical coverage, uniforms, and residences belonging to the company.
