Jerome worked with his wife, Leonora Diallo, on Gorgon during the time Spacer's Choice was developing Adrena-Time. He mainly did maintenance duty around the facilities, but that changed when Gorgon was evacuated. Non-essential workers took place in a lottery to see who would be evacuated in the first wave, and who would remain on the planet for later evacuation. Jerome won the lottery, but his wife lost. When she wasn't looking, he switched their tickets, giving her his seat on the first ship off the planet and pushing her to the front of the line before she had a chance to try and change his mind. Jerome was happy he was able to save his wife, but now he was left on the planet with no way off. That didn't discourage him, and he recorded his experiences in a journal that the player can find and read. At first, a few of the abandoned workers joined together to survive. As the days past and they struggled against both Marauders and Mantisaurs, they had no choice but to use some of the Adrena-Time left over in the evacuation. This eventually led to their downfall, with the side-effects turning them into the very Marauders they fought against. While his mind grew more and more distorted, Jerome never gave up hope in being reunited with Leonora, something that is clear especially in the final entries to his journal. Due to this extreme desire to be reunited, it can be speculated that Jerome stayed in the general area around the Economy Flats, ultimately leading to his demise when the player passes through in order to progress in the quest Love Is the Plan the Plan Is Death.

That Jerome. Always chose the right thing, even when it got him killed.

Jerome Diallo is a character in Peril on Gorgon.
