The Marauders are an enemy faction in The Outer Worlds.
Background[]
Humans that have lost their minds due to excessive use of Adrena-Time, marauders are violent individuals with very little in the way of comprehension or compassion, using makeshift amor created from Hephaestus mining gear. Originating on Gorgon, where Adrena-Time was being developed, they spread out initially to Edgewater as a trial by Spacer's Choice, who were aware of the violent, long term effects.
From mechanics to doctors, individuals from all walks of life joined their mindless ranks. Following the evacuation of Gorgon, those who were left behind took to using the same drug to outperform the marauders, eventually joining them as their own minds collapsed into the insanity.[1]
