The Vocational Competence Respecification Machine is a gameplay feature in The Outer Worlds. In the tutorial dialogue box, the logo of Wentsworth can be seen in the corner.


Overview[]

The Vocational Competence Respecification Machine is a usable station allowing users to respec their skill and perk points for reallocation and changes in character builds. Each use of the machine costs bits, with successive uses gradually increasing in price.

The machine was installed in the Unreliable by Alex Hawthorne prior to his death.[1]
